Breaking Cycles
Mission: Helping youth successfully reintegrate into the community following incarceration by helping them build positive skills, behaviors and respectful relationships
Breaking Cycles opened its doors in October, 2006. This 90-day program was designed to help youth ages 14-23 who have been referred to us by their parole or probation officer.
Using evidence-based curriculums, youth participate in life skills education through a variety of classes including money management, nutrition and cooking, and basic job skills. An emphasis is placed on gaining self-esteem, communication and social skills, and development of healthy relationships.
